The Cranford Historical Society will present “How We Dress” on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Hanson House, 38 Springfield Avenue. The Society’s popular costume curator Gail Alterman will demonstrate how a mid-19th century Victorian woman would get dressed, from the inside out, using reproduction garments. She will show you how clothing affected a women’s posture and reflected her status in society. Original garments from the collection will be on view.
ADMISSION IS FREE but donations are greatly appreciated.
